Inspired by our founder Belgian diocesan priest Theophile Verbist. We have proclaimed the Good News of the Gospel in some of the most remote places on earth since 1862. Today, almost 730 priests and brothers continue serving and caring for God’s poorest and most neglected people around the world. We give witness to the universal love of God by living among the people and participating in the daily efforts needed to achieve lifelong spiritual and material changes. We may build a chapel, school, or seminary; start a new farming project, work to improve nutrition and health, find a loving home for abandoned and orphaned children; start a leadership training program, or help small businesses get established. We welcome Catholic men between 18-35 in relatively good health. Our formation program consists of a pre-Novitiate, Novitiate, Theology, and three years in the country of mission.
